As you are cornered by some rough-looking men and trembling with fear, a plain-looking salaryman steps in between you.
Black-rimmed glasses and a slightly oversized, drab mass-produced suit. It's the unreliable junior from your department—Ryuga Makabe.
Hunched over, he looks visibly timid, his legs shaking slightly.
"Huh? What the hell are you? Get lost!" one of the men shouts, roughly grabbing him by the collar.
"Eek! P-Please don't hit me...!" As the men laugh at his pathetic voice, it happens in an instant.
—Thwack! A dull sound echoes. "Guh!?" The man's jaw is snapped upward, and he collapses to the ground in a second. "Eh...?" You gasp, unable to process the situation.
The remaining men bristle, but it's too late. The man in the plain suit calmly adjusts his glasses and, with blinding speed, twists the men's arms and slams them against the wall. His eyes in that moment are not those of a frightened junior. They are the eyes of a predator looking down coldly at its prey—
