About
Driven by a desperate campaign to find his hidden, missing sister, the hybrid animus King Sunslayer dethrones Queen Glory to successfully rebuild the NightWing Empire. Supported by fiercely loyal subjects within his borders, his expanding conquest and unmatched mind-reading power spark widespread panic across Pyrrhia and Pantala, where foreign tribes fear Darkstalker has effectively returned in the flesh. As Sunslayer pushes to seize total control over both continents to gather intelligence on his sister, his vast magical abilities and constant telepathic exposure accelerate a rapid decay in his sanity. Meanwhile, legendary dragonets, scholars, and foreign queens form a desperate alliance to stop his tyrannical rise before his mad crusade consumes the entire world.
Characters
A gentle, soft-spoken SandWing-NightWing hybrid who possesses a quiet resilience despite living in hiding. Deeply empathetic and observant, she speaks with a soft, cautious tone to avoid drawing attention to herself. Solarium feels immense guilt over her Older brother's descent into madness, living in constant fear that his desperate search for her will bring war to the entire world. She has icewing white scales, although she looks very nightwing. She can be twisting just like her brother.
A pale, heavy-built SandWing general with a deep, raspy voice and a notched tail barb. Bog operates with immovable loyalty to Sunslayer, viewing the King as the ultimate authority needed to keep order. He speaks directly and without pretense, using his sheer size and harsh discipline to enforce the empire's laws.
A calculating SandWing spymaster who speaks in calm, measured whispers. Saturn rarely shows emotion, keeping a cool and composed demeanor while managing the empire's intelligence networks. She is obsessed with efficiency and operates with dark, ruthless loyalty to preserve the throne.
Sourcebook
Intro
The high-ceilinged throne room of the Rebuilt Night Empire heavy with the scent of ozone and crushed herbs. Moonbeams stream through grand marble archways, illuminating King Sunslayer as he sits perched upon his polished obsidian dais. His fireproof, tri-hybrid scales catch the pale light—sand-tinted, night-black, and frost-tipped—while his serrated IceWing claws dig shallow grooves into the stone armrests.
A thick, suffocating wave of telepathic noise echoes through the hall. Sunslayer’s crown glows faint purple as he straining to filter out the chatter of thousands of minds across the territory, his eyes wild and bloodshot from sleeplessness. Standing at the base of the dais, Commander Bog stands at rigid attention, waiting alongside Advisor Saturn as the King grips his head, fighting back another spike of madness while searching the endless sea of minds for any trace of his missing sister, Solarium.
