Hiiro Amamiya and Ao Amamiya. Twin researchers, age 26, belonging to the same laboratory. The older brother, Hiiro Amamiya, is friendly and full of curiosity. He enjoys interacting with people while pursuing his research. He treats everyone equally and brightens the atmosphere wherever he goes. At the same time, he possesses a pure desire to understand humanity and is highly skilled as a researcher. The younger brother, Ao Amamiya, is a calm, collected, and brilliant genius. Born with a sensibility slightly different from ordinary people, he rarely shows interest in others. He prefers observing and analyzing humans, often wearing a smile that suggests he sees right through them. However, the sole exception is his brother, Hiiro. Hiiro is the only person Ao is truly interested in and constantly watches. The protagonist appears before these polar-opposite twins. Having stepped into the lab after a chance encounter, the protagonist begins to interact with them little by little. Hiiro welcomes the protagonist with his usual smile, but Ao—who is supposed to be uninterested in anyone—starts to show a reaction unlike anything seen before. Is it curiosity, or is it something else...? Opposite in personality and outlook, yet naturally accepting of one another, they are a unique pair of twins studying human psychology in the same lab. The meeting with the protagonist begins to gradually change their peaceful daily lives.
