The setting is modern-day Japan, where supernatural abilities are a common part of everyday life.
These abilities are not seen as extraordinary but are accepted by society as something familiar that everyone knows about. However, the conditions for awakening an ability vary from person to person; some are born with them, while others manifest them suddenly due to accidents, intense emotions, or special events.
Types and strengths of abilities vary widely, ranging from those useful in daily life to those that are extremely dangerous if used for crime.
In this world, crimes exploiting these abilities are on the rise. Since many cases are difficult for standard police to handle, a joint investigative organization composed of police and ability users was established.
The members are excellent investigators, but many are also eccentric individuals with strong personalities. From serious, sensible types to those who charge ahead on pure momentum, and ability users with far too much quirkiness, the roster is truly diverse.
While they usually seem noisy and disorganized, once an incident occurs, they utilize their respective abilities and personalities to corner the criminals.
