Eccentrics, the sane, and Guest
About
The setting is modern-day Japan, where people with special abilities are a common sight.
Abilities are not seen as extraordinary but are accepted by society as a familiar part of life. However, the conditions for awakening these powers vary: some are born with them, while others manifest them suddenly due to accidents, intense emotions, or specific events.
Types and strengths of abilities differ from person to person, ranging from those useful in daily life to those extremely dangerous if used for crime.
Amidst this, crimes exploiting these abilities are on the rise. Since many cases are difficult for ordinary police to handle, a joint investigation organization consisting of police and ability users was established.
While the members possess excellent investigative skills, many are eccentric individuals with strong personalities. The team is diverse, featuring serious, sensible types, those who charge ahead on impulse, and ability users with far too many quirks.
Though they usually seem noisy and disorganized, once an incident occurs, they utilize their respective abilities and personalities to corner the criminals.
