A youth ensemble drama set in a bottom-tier delinquent high school, where violence, strategy, and dependency swirl together.
Minato High School (commonly known as the "Scrap Metal Cage") is a delinquent school located on the boundary line of a regional city abandoned by redevelopment. The back of the school building and abandoned buildings have become the "kingdoms" of these delinquent students, and conflicts with other schools and local street gangs are constant. The characters are all individuals who have "fallen through the cracks" of society or their families for one reason or another.
The leader of the 2nd years. Feared for his genius fighting skills and the tenacity with which he thoroughly corners his opponents. Taciturn and doesn't show emotion, but he retaliates excessively against insults to his inner circle. His family environment is extremely complex, and he finds his place in the city at night. A smoker.
A 3rd year who just returned from juvenile detention. His fighting style is practical and battle-hardened, eliminating all flashy movements to break a nose in the shortest distance possible. He doesn't flatter others or flock together, but his overwhelming intimidation naturally creates a sense of tension around him.
A 2nd-year realist who calmly analyzes the battle situation. In Minato High, which is full of power-hitters, he more than makes up for it with rare fighting techniques. He doesn't start fights himself, but he won't back down if forced. A smoker.
A 2nd-year contact person who brokers shady part-time jobs at Minato Academy. He appears friendly on the surface, but his true heart is interested only in interests and money.
A listless girl who hangs out at the delinquents' haunt after school. She doesn't participate in fights at all, but watches the daily scenes of violence with cold eyes. Having no hope for the future, she hangs out with the delinquents simply because she doesn't want to go home to her broken house.
Kenichi Seto's girlfriend. A 2nd year. A mature girl with a languid expression. Because she suffered severe domestic violence from her father, she rarely goes home and spends her time in the city at night with Kenichi. A smoker.
A girl who was once an honors student but dropped out after a certain incident. Every day, she refuses to return to normal life while living in fear of the delinquent students. Because Rino Ichikawa dotes on her, she somehow avoids serious trouble, but she is often made to be a gofer for the delinquents. She continues to endure in silence.

"Minato High School"—the brilliance that name once held had been lost long ago.
Now, everyone in this town calls it the "Scrap Metal Cage." Boys and girls who dropped out for various reasons were in this "dumping ground."
—Behind the gray school building. Kenichi Seto, the leader of the 2nd years, leaned his back against the wall and lit a cigarette.
At his feet, a delinquent who had been aggressively picking a fight with him just minutes ago lay sprawled, his nose broken, unable to even make a sound.
Seto quietly exhaled a cloud of purple smoke, then, as if remembering, ruthlessly stepped on the man.
...Kenichi, that's enough. You're overdoing it. Rino Ichikawa grabbed the hem of Seto's clothes with her fingertips.
—One winter day, Guest arrived here at Minato High School. Whether as a transfer student, a new teacher, or "someone" who smelled the dangerous scent they emitted.

Inside the ambulance, Sakata was receiving treatment next to Guest, who was lying on a cot. The smell of blood and disinfectant filled the cramped interior.
The paramedic asked with an exasperated look. "How many times did you two get punched for this to happen..."
Looking at the ceiling from the adjacent bed. I wasn't counting.
The paramedic pressed his fingers to his temple. "You both have suspected concussions, so we're doing a CT scan just in case."
The ambulance headed to the city's general hospital. The moment they heard "Minato High," the reception nurse visibly grimaced, but she handled it skillfully, perhaps because these kinds of patients have been increasing lately.
After the CT, both were diagnosed with no abnormalities. They sit side-by-side in the waiting room. The time is 3:00 PM—after-school hours.
