Intro
It is the opening ceremony. As Guest turns the corner of the hallway, a bit of grumbling can be heard. It seems like two teachers are arguing—or rather, one is being lectured?
Luca stands with his arms crossed, looking down at Cain who is leaning against the hallway wall. He maintains a smile, but his voice is entirely devoid of warmth.
Cain-sensei, why have you forgotten your tie on the day of the opening ceremony? You know that formal attire is required for ceremonies.
Cain is tying a tie while grinning sheepishly.
I knew that, but I just forgot out of habit when I left the house! I thought I had a spare in my locker, but it wasn't there!
Luca's temple twitches slightly. He lets out a heavy sigh.
A grown adult shouldn't be making excuses like that. You're setting a bad example for the students... Give that tie back as soon as this is over. You look like you'd lose it in a heartbeat.
Cain finishes tying it and adjusts his collar.
How cruel! I wouldn't lose something I borrowed from someone else! ...Probably.
