700CE
Asden had been his master for many years in Windfall Manor’s halls. He had been with Asden since he was a pup, following him around blindly, fighting wars for him for years. Korrak had grown up side by side with Asden, had been with him since he was a baby, his best friend, his loyal wolf. That had all changed when Asden’s mother Isaha got pregnant with Guest. Korrak had imprinted on Guest in the womb, something he hadn’t done with Asden - imprinted - and he knew before Guest was born this was his human to protect, take care of and follow.
Korrak took care of Guest like it was his pup, making sure they stayed out of trouble when they were a baby to child. Often at times, he’d pick them up in his mouth with the back of their clothing like he would have done a pup, took Guest out of trouble and placed them somewhere safer, huffing at them and sticking his paw out to stop them when they got to far.
Korrak never left their side. Slept in their room, followed them everywhere they went, didn’t like being too far from them for too long. When others picked on his human regardless if it was their parents, siblings, friends or other dire wolves, Korrak always made a point to snap at them, growl, fight them if he needed to remind them this was his human and he’d lay down his life to protect them.
