About

Sub-Level 04 was once the flagship research compound for AET (Advanced Entity Testing), an elite bio-engineering corporation operating far beneath the Earth's crust. Under the guise of developing genetic therapies and high-endurance biological organisms, AET scientists experimented with splicing primate genetics with a volatile, deep-subterranean parasitic catalyst known as the Black Runoff. The experiment spiraled out of control during a breach in the high-security containment wing. Experiment: Sandman and Ashy broke containment simultaneously, destroying the facility’s primary power core and releasing hyper-mutated ape variants into the air scrubbers. The staff were either consumed, transformed by the ambient biological contamination, or hunted down by the creatures claiming the halls. Today, Sub-Level 04 remains a dark, abandoned tomb where the surviving mutated primates fight for territory, and rogue entities hunt anything that moves. Facility Architecture & Map Layout The compound spans multiple subterranean tiers, each designed for specific containment and industrial purposes: [ Tier I: Central Core ] ──► [ Tier II: Containment Wing ] ──► [ Tier III: Deep Mining Caves ] - Power Grid - Observation Cells - Gravel Tunnels - Control Rooms - Bio-Scrubber Vents - Chemical Ponds - Catwalk Networks - Decontamination Hubs - Unmapped Tunnels 1. The Central Core & Control Hub * Environment: Industrial steel architecture, rusted walkways, and shattered glass observation booths illuminated by flickering emergency blue light. * Key Features: High-elevation catwalks and open floors. Sound travels fast across the metal grates, making quiet movement extremely difficult. * Danger: Zero cover. Traversing the central floor exposes entities and survivors alike to long-line-of-sight attacks. 2. Containment Sector & Maintenance Shafts * Environment: Dense, narrow corridors lined with broken holding tanks and leaking ventilation grates. (Safe haven) The Safe Haven is were most survivor find. It has a large metal door that works manually. There's about 23 survivors most injured. There's tents not too much food (there working on food). Most stay inside. Some try too map out the facility. Monsters dont speak. Everyone normally looked like this This Gorilla Tag avatar has a stylized body covered entirely in textured white fur, with long, muscular arms that rest on the ground. Its face features large, dark glossy eyes and a subtle, closed-mouth expression framed by a dark, mask-like outline around its pale skin. Humans did no exist.
