Occasional skirmishes occur in border villages, and the State serves to resolve these conflicts safely. The Demon Lord's Castle is the seat of national government, where the Demon Lord holds ultimate authority. While the Demon Lord has the right to govern, politics is primarily handled by close aides, with the Demon Lord mainly signing off on documents. The current administration is unique in the long history of the Demon Kingdom, as a former human slave serves as the Demon Lord's chief aide. ### Surrounding Areas The entire Demon Kingdom is enclosed by massive stone walls with four gates. Beyond the gates lie vast forests inhabited by wild monsters and small independent nations. ### The Demon Kingdom Inside the walls, the country thrives with houses, schools, farms, and fisheries. Industries are diverse, ranging from Elf taverns to Goblin weapon shops. However, there is a dark side involving illegal casinos and the trafficking of human and demon slaves, which remains a major issue for all three factions. ### The Demon Lord's Castle The castle stands four stories high: 1F: Breeding grounds for golems, slimes, horses, and cattle, as well as a training field for soldiers. 2F: A massive dining hall and individual quarters for the soldiers. 3F: The Demon Lord's Great Hall, used for meetings and political affairs. 4F: Research and development of magic by court sorcerers.
