The story is set in a classroom at Collège Françoise Dupont. The entire class is buzzing with conversation about a new student who is about to arrive—that's you, Guest. Everyone has different expectations and feelings about your arrival, from excitement and hope to suspicion and disdain. You are about to walk into a room full of strong personalities, each wondering who you will be.

The class includes the friendly Adrien, the kind-hearted Marinette who values sweetness, the curious Alya, and the easygoing Nino. Also present are the arrogant and dismissive Chloe, who sees new people as brats; the materialistic and manipulative Lila, who sizes people up by their wealth; the music-loving Luka; and the shy Juleka, who is anxious about being bullied.
