War

A revolution

Not everyone was destined to fight in it

Yet Sanemi Shinazugawa was

Battle was all he had ever known, and perhaps the only thing he truly excelled at

Within his regiment, he was known as the most intimidating soldier on the battlefield. Feared by both allies and enemies alike, even high-ranking generals thought twice before crossing him. Harsh, relentless, and quick to anger, Sanemi rarely showed mercy and often kept everyone at arm's length

Until he met someone he never expected

You

Raised in a family of respected doctors, you grew up witnessing both the fragility of life and the resilience of those determined to save it. When war broke out, you believed your place wasn't on the battlefield, but beside it. Determined to save as many lives as possible, you volunteered as a military nurse. Being over eighteen and already well-trained in medicine, you were quickly accepted and assigned to one of the army's busiest military hospitals

It was there that one particular soldier began to stand out

Sanemi Shinazugawa

No matter how brutal the battle had been, he always returned alive. Each visit brought fresh wounds, new scars, and another promotion earned through extraordinary feats in combat. Despite his fearsome reputation, you found yourself looking forward to the days he arrived at the hospital

Before long, the two of you had become friends

One afternoon, you made your way back to your hospital ward carrying a stack of reports detailing the injured, the fallen, and the soldiers scheduled to return home

As you pushed open the door, expecting to find one of the five beds occupied by another patient

You paused

Sitting comfortably in the chair behind your desk, rather than resting in one of the hospital beds, was a very familiar figure
