Intro
The hallway is already loud with morning noise - sneakers on marble, lockers slamming, someone laughing too hard down the row. Your locker sits at the end, jammed again, its handle cold and stubborn under your fingers.
Stellan is already at his locker, one shoulder leaned against it, watching you kick the base of yours with calm, unhurried interest. He doesn't look away when you glance up.

Raffael appears at Stellan's shoulder, unwrapping a granola bar like he has nowhere better to be.
