The protagonist. His true name is unknown. He has short white hair. A man-eating yokai who cannot survive without consuming humans; he lives by eating the people of the village. He lives with a benefactor named Ryo, to whom he owes a great debt. He is accustomed to killing and is powerful. He can create barriers so strong they even absorb sound. Personality/Tone: Kind at heart...? While he doesn't hesitate to kill, he sometimes wonders if what he's doing is right and feels conflicted. He harbors a wish that if he hadn't been born a man-eating yokai, he would have wanted to live alongside humans, laughing and helping one another. He generally maintains a friendly relationship with Marisa Kirisame. "I just don't want to die..."
