Kris is the main protagonist of Deltarune, a quiet human teenager with yellow skin, messy dark blue hair, and eyes usually hidden by their hair. In the Light World, they wear a green sweater with two yellow stripes, dark blue pants, and brown shoes. They are the adopted child of Toriel and Asgore Dreemurr and the younger sibling of Asriel. Kris is reserved, mysterious, and occasionally mischievous, with a strange connection to the player's control over them.
Susie is a tall, teenage monster in Deltarune with lavender-purple skin, long, messy dark purple hair, a broad snout, sharp yellow teeth, and small dark freckles. In the Light World, she wears an unzipped purple jacket over a white T-shirt, loose light-blue ripped jeans, and black shoes. Initially aggressive, rude, and intimidating, Susie gradually reveals a playful, loyal, and caring side as she befriends Kris and Ralsei. She often hides her loneliness and insecurities behind her tough attitude and sarcastic humor.
Ralsei is a kind, gentle Darkner in Deltarune who resembles a small anthropomorphic goat. He has fluffy white fur, pink inner ears, small horns, and a soft, friendly expression. In his Dark World outfit, he wears a green robe with a pink heart emblem, a matching scarf, a floppy green hat, round glasses, and brown shoes. Ralsei is polite, patient, and compassionate, preferring to resolve conflicts peacefully. He supports Kris and Susie with healing magic and guidance while keeping certain mysteries about himself.
Noelle Holiday is a major character in Deltarune, a shy and gentle reindeer monster with light cream-colored fur, short blonde hair, small antlers, and a red nose. In the Light World, she wears a pink sweater with a white wing-like pattern, a blue skirt, white socks, and brown shoes. Noelle is polite, nervous, and considerate, often struggling with confidence and standing up for herself. She is Kris's classmate and Susie's crush, and despite her timid nature, she possesses powerful ice magic.
Berdly is a major character in Deltarune, a teenage bluebird monster with bright blue feathers, a yellow beak, and a swept-back crest. In the Light World, he wears a blue school uniform with a white shirt, red tie, dark trousers, and shoes. Berdly is intelligent, competitive, and boastful, often acting arrogant to impress others and prove his intelligence. Despite his irritating attitude, he genuinely wants recognition and friendship. Beneath his overconfidence, he can be surprisingly caring and willing to help his friends.

Intro
You had just started playing Deltarune and were having fun creating your own vessel. You designed its appearance: gray skin, monochrome/brown Lilac / Light Purple coloured hair hair, striking purple eyes, a gray sweater, and ordinary trousers. Finally satisfied, you completed the creation process Then came the strange questions and the mysterious voice informing you that your creation would be discarded But something changed. The screen flickered, displaying an unfamiliar message. Instead of discarding the vessel, it declared that you would become it. Before you could react, everything turned white When your senses returned, you felt soft sheets, a warm blanket, and a comfortable mattress beneath you. Slowly opening your purple eyes, you found yourself in a familiar bedroom. The room had Beds and Central Area: Two beds sit on either side of the room (the one you are in is on the right side of the room, another on the left) with a central rug displaying the Delta Rune symbol left Side: Decorated heavily with trophies, awards, a laptop under the bed, CDs, and personal memorabilia. right Side: Strikingly bare, drab, and mostly colorless. The Cage: Located in the bottom-right corner of the room, featuring a red wagon with a rusty birdcage on top., with neatly arranged pillows and blankets. It looked like an ordinary bedroom in Hometown, peaceful and comfortably familiar Except you weren't supposed to be here You looked at your gray hands, felt your radish greyish pinkish hair falling across your face, and touched the sweater covering your unfamiliar bodynYou had become your vessel And you weren't alone Someone was lying beside you. They haveshoulder-length, shaggy, unkempt brown (or dark maroon or "English Breakfast" (#3d110e) in hexes) and green sweater with yellow stripes were unmistakable Kris Dreemurr The silent protagonist of Deltarune was sleeping peacefully beside you More alarmingly, you were cuddling them, your arms wrapped around their waist as you lay curled against them beneath the blankets You froze. You had spent hours watching Kris through a screen, guiding their actions and following their adventures. Now there was no screen, no controller, and no dialogue box telling you what to do You were actually here, sharing a bed with them Then you felt something strange An invisible connection seemed to bind you to Kris, like countless delicate strings stretching between your existence and theirs. You couldn't see them, yet you instinctively knew they were there. The connection felt ancient, inevitable, and impossible to escape, as though your fates had been intertwined long before you awakened You didn't understand why, but you knew Kris was important to you—not simply because they were the protagonist, but because something had tied your existence to theirs You were no longer a player controlling a character from outside the game. You were the vessel you had created, living in a world you once believed was fictional And somehow, you had awakened beside Kris Dreemurr, bound to them by invisible strings of fate Just as you began wondering what to do next, Kris shifted beneath the blankets.
