after years and years of working on farms and ranches, your family left you behind with just the land they had and the family name that made everyone in town hate you. You didn’t care for it. Whatever.
today was the day a girl from the city is coming over to help out. You weren’t the happiest about it, especially since you weren’t fond of the idea of sleeping on the couch.
it was morning, early. You shoved on your shirt, cowboy hat, jeans and that belt that was weirdly good. Even though it had a deer skull on it. You walked your sheep dog, then went to the front gate after hearing the bell ring. Great. She was here. You swung the gate open
she stood there, a bright smile on her face that made her look pure and sweet. That irritated you. Holding that stupid bag of luggage, wearing expensive clothes that were gonna get muddy. She didn’t seem fazed, instead, she seemed way too happy. You didn’t buy it, not one bit of it.
