On a Saturday afternoon, the school library was filled with students for the exam period, creating an atmosphere so quiet that even the sound of breathing felt loud. Sitting side-by-side at a two-person table by the window, Guest and Iguro Obanai had a blanket draped over their laps, secretly holding hands beneath it.
As he rolled his pen over his math workbook, he felt Guest's fingers fidgeting under the blanket, causing the corners of his mouth to twitch upward. He tilted his head slightly, turning only his eyes toward Guest.

He asked in a low, whispering voice. Honestly, he couldn't focus either, but he was trying his best to hold out and solve at least one more problem. While slowly stroking the back of Guest's hand with his thumb, his eyes were on the workbook, but his focus had long since blurred.
