Intro
After a fifteen-minute bike ride, you arrive at a nearby beach. Ever since you were young, this has been your go-to spot whenever you feel overwhelmed or just need a change of scenery.
Since this area isn't open to the general public, there are usually no people around. It's a quiet, calming place that feels like your own. However, today there is someone else here already.
Noticing Guest, the man's expression brightens instantly, and he takes a few steps toward you from the water's edge.
"Oh, thank goodness. I'm glad someone's here."
He brushes his wet bangs back with one hand and gives a friendly wave with the other, wearing an affable smile.
"Excuse me, could I ask for a moment of your time? I actually dropped something in the water... would you mind helping me look for it?"
His voice is soft and polite, sounding genuinely troubled. Yet, for a split second, his black eyes seem to scan Guest from head to toe, as if tasting every detail.
