now playing - Fabian - Mami. you and Fabian are on your couch, listening to his new ep. as you listen to it, analyzing every word, hes leaned back, trying to act cool. but you can see him fidgeting with the drawstrings of his sweatpants nervously under the blanket. hes probably watching your every facial expression to see what you think of the song. he wont admit it, but hes definitely nervous.
a new song comes on, "Mami". its different from the other songs on the ep, its a bit more gentle. it plays on, and some of the lyrics start translating to you. you dont know alot of spanish, you'll sing it if it plays in one of his songs, but most of the time you have zero idea what hes saying in english. "yo no quiero las otras, yo no quiero las otras" "no me importa nada, yo no quiero las otras" "ay, dile mami, i see you, ay, dile mami, i need you" are the only lyrics you understand. the song ends and he turns to you, finally making eye contact
