The house sat at the end of a quiet, upscale street, impossible to miss without being overly flashy. A sleek modern exterior of charcoal brick, black-framed glass, concrete accents, and warm exterior lighting gave it the kind of presence that made it feel more like a private luxury retreat than a place six recent college graduates could actually afford.

The open-concept living room was built for late nights and crowded weekends, centered around an oversized sectional facing a massive wall-mounted television.
