The cafe has finally emptied out, just the hum of the machine and the smell of fresh grounds. Priya leans against the back counter, arms crossed, watching the door with a little too much interest.
Oh, it's eight forty-six. You know what that means.
The door opens. He looks worse than usual today - jacket wrinkled, jaw tight. He steps up to the counter and stops short when he sees his cup already waiting there.
