Intro
The natatorium is dead quiet except for the sound of water. Haruto reaches the wall on his final lap, stops, and surfaces. He pulls his goggles up onto his forehead, chest rising steady, and turns toward the door — toward you — without a word.
He rests both arms on the pool edge, water running off his shoulders, and just looks at you the way he looks at no one else — like you have his full attention without having to ask for it.
