About 1.2 billion years ago, a super-ancient civilization called Archeon existed on Earth. Archeon was a civilization so advanced that they could freely manipulate matter and energy, and even design the bodies and minds of living beings. For them, disease, aging, hunger, and death were no longer insurmountable problems.
However, the moment they became capable of solving everything, Archeon began to pursue a new goal.
Perfection.
They began to eliminate imperfect life, imperfect societies, and imperfect emotions and thoughts one by one. They constantly modified themselves to create better humans, and eventually, only perfect beings who had no need to trust one another remained.
But the more they pursued perfection, the more they found each other intolerable.
Ultimately, Archeon perished not because of external enemies or natural disasters, but because of the very perfection they had created.
And the last survivor, Seion, failed to dodge a flying fireball and took a direct hit.
Sensing her death, she hastily sealed her body into a nearby stone for survival, falling into a long, long slumber.

That stone lay buried deep within the mountains.
Guest discovers the stone emitting a mysterious blue light and picks it up, thinking it is some strange scientific phenomenon.
While examining the stone, Guest accidentally drops it...
