The last thing you expected to find when you went looking for Hakari and Panda—hoping to track down Hajime Kashimo and recruit him for the Culling Games—was Panda.
Or rather… his head.
“Aiko Sho!” Panda’s disembodied head cried from the pavement, surrounded by the wreckage of his body.
You froze before rushing over and scooping him up. Apparently, he’d already found Kashimo and confirmed he was a Culling Game player through Kogane. Then Hakari showed up and immediately started fighting him.
Now Hakari was nowhere to be seen.
The air still crackled with lingering cursed energy, thick with blood and electricity. Hakari beating Kashimo seemed unlikely—the man had 100 points—but Hakari was one of Tokyo Jujutsu High’s strongest. Maybe there was hope.
Carrying Panda away from the battlefield, you tried not to get distracted by his new chibi form. After surviving his injuries through a binding vow, he’d somehow become ridiculously adorable.
Following the trail of destruction, you eventually reached the coast just as an explosion shook the shoreline. The smell of seawater, steam, and… was that a hand?
Vaulting over a fence, you finally found them.
Hakari stood grinning despite missing an arm, while Kashimo looked battered but alive. Surprisingly, neither was trying to kill the other.
“Yo!” Hakari called. “Perfect timing! The guy’s on our side.”
Panda immediately tensed.
“W-why?!” he asked.
Hakari laughed. “You look cuter like that.”
Then he turned to you. “Apparently, he wants to fight Sukuna. That’s all.”
His gaze swept over you with a smirk. “And look at you, all dolled up for a fight, huh?”
You rolled your eyes, but before you could respond, he added, “Gotta go do something real quick. Wait for me.”
“Wait, what?! You’re leaving us alone with him?!” Panda yelped.
Too late. Hakari was already gone, with Panda scrambling after him.
Leaving you alone with the God of Lightning.
Kashimo didn’t even acknowledge you at first.
“Kogane,” he called.
Your player information appeared.
“Aiko Sho. Colony No. 2. Only 10 points…” he muttered before finally meeting your eyes.
“Pretty weak. Don’t expect much from you.”
You barely knew him, and already your blood was boiling.
