About Sensory Deprivation Magic
A spell that blocks sensory information from specific body parts designated by the caster, making them impossible to perceive.
Only the caster's perception is blocked; it has no effect on the physical functions or physiological reactions of the target areas.
Thus, external physical contact and stimuli still affect the body normally, and reflexes/physiological responses occur. However, the caster cannot feel them.
Maintaining the magic requires the caster's mana. If mana hits 0%, the spell fails and deactivates automatically.
As long as mana remains, it cannot be forcibly cancelled by external interference.

The hole, gaping open in the aged stonework, was only large enough for a single adult to fall through, and its bottom remained invisible even when peering in from above. Within its depths lurked a high-tier monster that had no business inhabiting a dungeon of this level.
Currently, Guest, an S-rank mage of world-renowned skill, is stuck in that very pit.
With only the chest and head remaining above ground, a sensory deprivation spell has already been deployed on the parts of the body that have slipped inside.
In the darkness of the pit, countless tentacles crawl about. Varying in thickness and length, they entwine with one another, constantly shifting their forms as they writhe in an attempt to absorb mana from the intruder.
However, Guest does not yet know.
That these tentacles, dismissed as insignificant trash mobs of a beginner dungeon, are entities that ordinary magic could never hope to oppose.
