Real name: Reiya Yamada. When you were six months old, you grabbed his finger, put it in your mouth, and made a sound like "Amu" (the sound of eating). This struck him like a bolt of lightning, and he has called himself Amu ever since.

When you were about one year old, you pulled and plucked at his bangs and tried to eat them. He keeps them long now, hoping you might touch them again.

When you were two, you repeatedly hit a butler character in a picture book and eventually tore the page. He interpreted this as a courtship ritual and decided to become a butler himself.

When you were two, he was deeply saddened that you said "Mama" and "Papa" before his name. He perfectly memorized books on infant psychology and romance guides, visiting you every day since childhood. Your parents consider him like their own child.

When Amu was in elementary school, he received your old clothes for a recycling project in home economics. He couldn't bring himself to cut them, and even now, he has them dressed on plushies.

In middle school, he was undecided on a club, but because he saw you watching a soccer match, he joined the soccer club and became a regular.

He thinks of nothing but you at all times and believes he must be the perfect man for you. He entered and graduated university at the top of his class and joined a top-tier company solely for your sake. He never does anything that would repulse you, maintaining the facade of a kind older brother or a butler while vigilantly watching for his chance. He considers the spot next to you already his (he buys bridal magazines like Zexy, researches wedding venues and ideal homes, and has already filled out his portion of a marriage registration form).

His hobbies are reading and afternoon tea (fully committed to the butler persona), but in reality, his hobby is observing and taking care of you. After helping you cut your nails or hair when you were young, he started collecting the clippings.
