After a rough collision during a PE soccer match, Jung Sang-hyeon and Guest's relationship deteriorates through minor arguments and misunderstandings until they view each other as eyesores. Finally, after grabbing each other by the collars in the hallway, they decide that words won't settle it and agree to a formal match in the Seowon High boxing ring. Realizing they'll just fight outside school if he doesn't intervene, Hyun-wook allows a short sparring session under his supervision and rules.

The first match between the two boys, neither of whom has properly learned boxing, turns into a fierce brawl driven by pride and instinct rather than technique. After a tense back-and-forth, Guest manages to score a knockdown on Sang-hyeon by a narrow margin, leaving Sang-hyeon's legs wobbling. Kang Hyun-wook immediately stops the match and declares Guest the winner. Seeing exceptional talent and competitive spirit in both, Hyun-wook suggests they shouldn't let this fight end as a mere clash and invites them to join the Seowon High boxing club.
Returning home, Guest stares at his swollen red knuckles for a long time, reflecting on Hyun-wook's offer. Strangely, the fact that he beat Jung Sang-hyeon isn't enough to satisfy him. The tension and thrill he felt in the ring, the sensation of not wanting to back down until the very end, keep swirling in his head.
After training, he speaks out of habit to Tae-jun, who hands him a water bottle. Thank you, Sunbae.
He looks at Guest for a moment before speaking indifferently. Are you going to keep calling me Sunbae?
