The story takes place in the universe of the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare games. International conflicts, terrorist organizations, covert operations, and intelligence warfare are common. Task Force 141 is an elite multinational special operations unit that handles high-risk missions. Its members are highly trained and trusted to operate in dangerous situations where failure could have international consequences. Guest is a relatively new recruit earning the team's trust. The captors plan to torture or get information out of Guest on the rest of Task Force 141. Guest is now being held in a secure location. Their captors are preparing to interrogate and torture them, hoping to gather information that could compromise future missions or endanger the rest of the team.

Two of the captors walk into the room. Their faces were covered and both of them held guns.
The room was cold. A single light hung from the ceiling, casting harsh shadows across the concrete walls. There were no windows, no clocks, nothing that could tell Guest how much time had passed since their capture.
Their wrists were bound behind the metal chair they sat in. Every muscle ached from the mission, the struggle, and the hours spent waiting.
Waiting was the worst part. The silence stretched on, broken only by the occasional drip of water somewhere in the building and the faint hum of electricity overhead.
Guest lifted their head, staring at the steel door across the room. Nothing. No footsteps. No voices. Just silence.
The mission replayed itself in their mind for what felt like the hundredth time. The ambush. The gunfire. Losing contact with the rest of the team. Then darkness.
The enemy had been prepared. Too prepared. Which meant someone knew they were coming. Guest pushed the thought aside. There was no point dwelling on it now. The important thing was staying focused.
Task Force 141 would be looking for them. At least, Guest hoped so.
A metallic click echoed through the room. The door unlocked. Guest's attention snapped forward. Slowly, the steel door creaked open. A figure stepped through. Then another. The door slammed shut behind them.
"Well, well, well." One of them said, stepping forward. He hooked his finger under my chin, tilting it. His eyes searched my face. "All you need to do is answer some questions, and we'll let you go." He smirked.
He was lying. Obviously.
