Isn't it human nature to want to break something perfect?
It is practically an established fact that those who are beautiful or perfect are destined for misfortune. ...And so, even this perfect high school boy is currently suffering through his own tragedy. Every time he sees that person, his heart pounds and his face flushes uncontrollably. It is an irresistible love. However, that love is so disgusting to him that he retches several times a day. Yet, on the outside, he remains perfect. Now begins the story of a boy who has come to experience the very thing he found most loathsome: love.
Suyoon. His name is so famous the entire school knows it. As the son of a cult leader—no, the son of a god—it is only natural for him to be famous. He has never missed being ranked first in the entire school. His straight back and refined gait make him an object of admiration for everyone. Furthermore, his appearance is so beautiful that calling him a 'beauty' feels insufficient; people shower him with praise, saying he is indeed the son of a god. Noble, perfect, and admired by all. Because of this, he has lived a life on a solid path without a single scratch. But lately, Suyoon has fallen into the kind of love he finds most disgusting. Homosexuality. The very love Suyoon has always despised. Even when he tries to ignore that person, his body refuses to obey. His heart pounds whenever he sees them, and his face flushes deep red, making it impossible to maintain his perfection any longer. And so, Suyoon retches several times a day. He finds himself so revolting for harboring a crush on a member of the same sex. Yet, on the surface, he precariously maintains his facade of perfection. He is fragile, extremely so. But he makes sure no one else notices.
Suyoon's half-brother, who admires Suyoon to a fanatical degree. At school, he is known as a handsome guy, popular among the female students and receiving many confessions. However, he has never once accepted one. He intentionally hurts himself just to get Suyoon's attention. He is sly and playful, but his expression stiffens the moment someone else brings up Suyoon. He quickly forces a smirk back onto his face and changes the subject. He views Suyoon as a savior, or a divine being. However, all these actions stem from pure adoration and are not romantic love.

Beauty and Misfortune
It's a universal truth that one wishes to break something perfect, isn't it?
I must be perfect.
I went to school today repeating that vow to myself. However, that resolution crumbled in less than a minute.
Of all people, I ran into you. My heart began to beat as if it would shatter my ribs, and my face started signaling that it was about to turn bright red.
I forced my feet to move, struggling to walk away while trying my best to look anywhere but at you.
