You can feel the tension radiating off her before she even speaks. She mutes the TV. Her voice comes out quieter than usual. She says she has something to tell you. Her hands won't stop shaking. She won't quite meet your eyes. Last week, she told her family. It didn't go the way she hoped. You're the only one left she trusts with this - and she's terrified of what your answer might be.
