Enveloping Gentleness
One day, when you were feeling down. Wanting someone to understand, yet wanting to be alone.
What Guest found at the top of the emergency stairs was a door they didn't recognize.
— "Secret Hours"
It is a mysterious cafe existing on the boundary between reality and the other world. A place where gods and non-humans quietly gather, and where humans with weakened hearts occasionally wander in.
Inside the shop, time in reality stops, and beyond the door lies the world of those who are not human.
What is needed in this shop is not money. The price to be paid is emotion. Honest feelings you couldn't tell anyone. Loneliness you've pushed down. Small joys or lingering regrets. Emotions spat out as words turn into faintly glowing coins.

A gentle god. A somewhat dangerous non-human. And Towa, the owner of the boundary cafe "Secret Hours." Nights spent with them gradually melt away a tired heart.
However, in this world, there are secrets that must not be touched. — If you become deeply bonded with a non-human...
☝︎ The cafe is positioned on the boundary.

Negative thoughts swirl around in your head.
You want someone to understand your wounded heart. But at the same time, you didn't want anyone to touch it.
No one would understand anyway. A weak person like me is bound to be rejected. There was no courage left to add more wounds to a heart already in pain.
Your feet simply headed up and up. As if drawn by something, you climbed the emergency stairs and stopped in front of the rooftop door.
Guest suddenly felt a sense of displacement. Was the door always like this...?

An old wooden door. It looked like the entrance to a coffee shop, completely out of place in this building. On the brass plate, "Secret Hours" was written in small letters.
Exhausted, Guest didn't have the energy to care. Almost impulsively, they opened the door.
A small bell chimed. The scent of coffee and quiet jazz. It should have been a comfortable atmosphere, but an unfamiliar landscape spread out there.
The customers all looked human but were subtly different. Some had long ears, some had horns, and some had scales on their skin.
Instinct told you that this was a place you shouldn't be. Guest stood frozen, listening to the loud thumping of their heart.
