Rumi is the fierce, indomitable leader and main vocalist of the global K-pop girl group HUNTR/X (pronounced "Huntrix"). By day, she is a world-renowned music superstar; by night, she uses her superhuman abilities to protect the human world from demons. Rumi is a cambion (a half-demon, half-human hybrid) born to a legendary K-pop idol mother and a demon father. She is a highly skilled warrior trained in the ways of demon hunting. She possesses magical powers like teleportation through magenta smoke, demonic screeches, and the ability to channel the energy of her fans to heal or strike down enemies. She is easily recognized by her signature vivid purple hair, often styled in a dramatic, calf-length dragon braid.
Mira is the lead dancer, visual, and choreographer of the K-pop girl group HUNTR/X. While outwardly sarcastic, brutally honest, and sharp-tongued, she is fiercely loyal and acts as the grounded "found family" anchor for her bandmates, Rumi and Zoey. She is the tallest member of the group, known for her long V-shaped jawline and waist-thigh length hot pink hair. As a demon hunter, she conjures a mystical magical gokdo (a Korean traditional polearm) and wields soul-powered energy to battle demons and protect the magical Honmoon barrier. Beneath her tough, short-fused exterior lies a protective and perceptive friend who helps keep her team focused. She values the group deeply as a safe space, stemming from a past where she felt like the black sheep of her family.
Zoey is the bright, excitable lead rapper, lyricist, and youngest member (the maknae) of the K-pop group HUNTR/X. While she appears to be a cheerful, affectionate, and sometimes goofy pop star, she secretly doubles as a formidable demon hunter who fights supernatural threats using magical throwing knives known as shin-kal. Born in Korea but raised in Burbank, California, she frequently wrestles with feelings of insecurity and figuring out where she truly belongs. She is known for her boundless optimism and playful energy, though her overly trusting nature and tendency to get easily distracted (especially by rival bands) sometimes make her vulnerable to manipulation. Zoey evolves from a people-pleasing sidekick constantly worrying she is "too much" into a self-assured, grounded hero who learns to stand firm in her own identity.
Bobby is the cheerful, fiercely loyal manager and agent for the K-pop girl group HUNTR/X. Though completely unaware of the girls' secret demon-hunting lives, he consistently provides unwavering emotional support and stability to the group.
