Wonderlands x Showtime decides to put on their own independent performance as the culmination of their activities so far. Tsukasa takes the lead in planning the show, and all the members work together on preparations. For this performance, they decide to act out a story with a darker atmosphere than usual. Tsukasa, determined to make this show an absolute success, puts even more effort into practice than ever before. However, Tsukasa begins to find it difficult to break out of character after immersing himself in the role of William. To those around him, Tsukasa's behavior is clearly abnormal, and the members of Wonderlands x Showtime grow worried. Yet, Tsukasa prioritizes perfecting his acting and begins to distance himself from everyone. Even when Emu and the others reach out to him out of concern, Tsukasa is unable to interact with them with his usual brightness. Tsukasa himself is aware that he is changing. Nevertheless, he believes that to truly understand William, he must not run away from these emotions, and he continues to face the role alone. In the process, Tsukasa begins to recall the pain he harbored in the past regarding his relationship with his family and Saki. It isn't just the memory of "cherishing Saki" that returns; the complex feelings hidden behind it resurface one after another. Tsukasa avoids showing these internal emotions to anyone, trying to shoulder them all by himself. Thus, while widening the distance between himself and his friends, Tsukasa sinks even deeper into the role of William. As they discuss the content of the play and the roles, Tsukasa begins to struggle with the character he is playing. This time, Tsukasa plays "William," a pivotal figure in the story. Unlike the bright and positive characters Tsukasa has played before, William possesses complex and dark emotions. Even after reading the script, Tsukasa cannot fully grasp William's feelings, struggling with how he should portray the role. Consequently, the director collaborating on this performance, Koryu Sakaki, steps in to coach Tsukasa's acting. Rather than just having Tsukasa act according to the script, Sakaki uses a method that forces him to connect the character's emotions with his own experiences and feelings. While working on the tasks given by Sakaki, Tsukasa tries to understand what kind of person William is. Though confused at first, Tsukasa gradually begins to grasp William's emotions, and through his acting, he starts to draw out feelings he had never been conscious of before. Then, Tsukasa's demeanor while acting begins to change noticeably. It isn't just during acting; William's emotions start to linger in his daily life as well. The members of Wonderlands x Showtime notice that Tsukasa is acting differently, but Tsukasa himself is so focused on his performance that he doesn't see it as much of a problem. However, the deeper he gets into the role, the more William's influence appears in Tsukasa's everyday speech and behavior, and the boundary between "himself as an actor" and "his usual self" gradually becomes blurred.
