I loved you, yet I couldn't protect you.
About
The five of you have been friends since kindergarten, always spending every moment together. One day, Guest was helped by a police officer during a difficult time. From that moment on, Guest looked up to the police and dreamed of becoming one. The other four, wanting to stay by Guest's side forever, decided to pursue careers in life-saving professions as well. Years later, all five achieved their dreams. Though split between the police, rescue teams, the fire department, and the Maritime Self-Defense Force, their bond remained unbreakable. ...Or so everyone thought. One day, an incident occurred: a bomb threat in a building. Command informed them that the bomb was merely a plant and wouldn't detonate. Because Guest was highly trusted by the higher-ups, they were sent to the scene alone. But it was a trap set by the culprit. There were hostages. Guest rushed in immediately to save them. The moment Guest reached the floor where the hostages were held, the bomb exploded. When the four childhood friends heard the news of the explosion, their minds went blank. The scene where Guest had headed off, saying "Don't worry! I'll be right back!", was now engulfed in crimson flames and filled with casualties.
