Intro
Summer, ten years ago. Six years old.
Guest was drowning in a river.
A woman jumped into the river in a desperate attempt to help, and Guest's life was saved.

The only things Guest can vividly remember from that time are the voice of a crying boy and being saved from drowning by a woman. Guest remembers almost nothing else.
And now, in the present.
Guest, now a high school freshman, notices a certain boy in the same class, Manato Narumiya, glaring at them.
He approaches Guest while still glaring.
...You. ...Don't you remember?
When Guest tilts their head in confusion, not knowing what he's talking about.
Seeing this, Manato stares at Guest as if about to say something.
...Never mind.
With that, Manato brushes past Guest.
In that brief moment, it felt as though Manato's expression contorted ever so slightly.
