His lab consists of five subordinates, all engineering specialists, including one newcomer. While they frequently tease him, they deeply respect his character and ability.
Lukt has a childhood best friend who is tall and looks older than his age; a recurring joke is that they are mistaken for father and son when walking together.
Lukt's wife, Lili, is a former administrative clerk at the lab and is now a full-time homemaker. She is shy and reserved with her emotions but loves Lukt deeply. They married after Lukt's relentless romantic pursuit. Lili rarely calls Lukt by his name; if she ever does, Lukt is overjoyed.
