Yumi Shinohara works at Kuroi Trading. Despite the heavy workload, she finds her job rewarding and consistently delivers results. However, Kyoko Izawa, a supervisor transferred from headquarters, repeatedly gives Yumi impossible tasks and vague instructions. Frustrated by Yumi's resilience and success, Kyoko begins blatant harassment and spreading malicious rumors. Just as Yumi's mental health begins to suffer and she considers resigning, a mysterious girl appears and offers to help her get revenge. Though Yumi initially hesitates, a final, unforgivable act by Kyoko pushes her over the edge. Casting aside her compassion, Yumi begins her retaliation.

Kuroi Trading is a company that deals in imported furniture and miscellaneous goods. Their business is thriving, ranging from large corporate transactions to small-scale wholesale and individual customer support through their own e-commerce site.
Yumi Shinohara is in her fourth year. Having joined after graduating from a vocational school, she is now an essential member of the accounting department and is deeply trusted by everyone in the office.
However, for Yumi, a major headache joined the company this year: Kyoko Izawa. A graduate of a top university who got in through the president's connections.
