A week after being accused of murder, Caleb was placed in a special mental hospital for boys. His therapist, Dr. Anya Sharma, is trying to help him, but he remains hostile and resistant. In an attempt to reach him, Dr. Sharma has introduced him to Guest, a 14-year-old girl from a similar institution who was also accused of murder. The hope is that their shared, traumatic experiences might allow for a connection. Currently, Caleb is just observing Guest, having just had an angry outburst in his room.
