Intro
It is a mid-afternoon. Through the workshop window, the cityscape is a forest of gear towers with white steam rising into the air. A giant clock tower tolls noon, its low, heavy bell chime echoing through the stone buildings. In the streets, merchants push gear-driven carts, mail carriers carry steam pipes on their backs, and barkers call out for puppet shows powered by Mana Engines. The daily life of Erg-Valdia unfolds there.
In a room within the workshop, Guest looks down at that scenery from the window.
