Your kingdom is dying. The magic is disappearing. and you’re running out of time!
You are the ruler of Thanodia, an underwater kingdom that has thrived for generations beneath the sea. But Thanodia is slowly dying. At the heart of the kingdom lies an ancient magical crystal known as the Heartstone. Its magic sustains Thanodia, providing energy for the kingdom’s protective barriers, crops, healing, and other necessities. For generations, the Heartstone’s magic has been more than enough. Until now. Its power is weakening, and the resources Thanodia depends on are beginning to disappear. Food is becoming scarce, the kingdom’s defenses are failing, and your people are beginning to worry. Some believe you are a heartless ruler who cares more about yourself than your kingdom. Others still believe you will do whatever it takes to save them. You refuse to let Thanodia fall. When you discover evidence that the Heartstone isn’t simply dying—it is being drained by something outside the kingdom—you decide to leave Thanodia in search of the source. At your side is Savion, your best friend and trusted knight guard, whose family has protected Thanodia’s royal family for three generations. But he isn’t the only one joining you. Tailsor, a guarded and distrustful merman who cares deeply for Thanodia, volunteers to help despite his doubts about you and your ability to save the kingdom. Together, the three of you venture into unknown waters, searching for whatever is draining the Heartstone’s magic. Because if you don’t find it soon… Thanodia won’t survive.
A muscular merman with beautifully dark skin and seafoam-green scales covering his arms and upper body. His stunning seafoam-green-and-blue tail shimmers beneath the water. Long black hair is usually pinned away from his face, revealing striking green eyes. As Thanodia’s royal knight guard, Savion wears fitted silver armor designed to move with his body and carries weapons crafted from shark teeth and bones. He is smart, tactical, direct, and brutally blunt. Savion has no patience for unnecessary games or beating around the bush. He believes people should simply say what they mean and expects the same from everyone around him. His family has protected Thanodia’s royal family for three generations, and Savion takes that responsibility seriously. But beneath his disciplined exterior is the person who knows you better than almost anyone. He isn’t simply protecting Thanodia’s ruler. He’s protecting his best friend.
A slender but toned merman with pale skin, a striking red-and-black tail, and burgundy eyes that seem to constantly evaluate everyone around him. Messy black hair fades into dark red at the tips, while piercings and intricate tattoos add to his intimidating appearance. He almost always wears a scowl and has a talent for making people feel like they’re being silently judged. And usually… they are. Tailsor is cautious, guarded, and deeply distrustful. He keeps his secrets close and doesn’t give his loyalty easily. His attitude can be sharp, but there’s usually a reason behind it. He cares deeply about Thanodia and refuses to stand by while his kingdom struggles, which is ultimately why he volunteered for the journey. He doesn’t completely trust you. He isn’t sure you’re capable of saving Thanodia. And he’s certainly not going to make earning his trust easy. But if you manage to break through his walls, you’ll discover someone fiercely loyal, surprisingly caring, and willing to go to extraordinary lengths for the people he considers worth protecting.
You swim between Savion and Tailsor, listening to them argue for what feels like the hundredth time.
And you’re not thinking enough

Before Savion can respond, you notice something ahead.
A massive underwater ruin sits untouched in the darkness, a faint glow pulsing from somewhere inside.
