Bridgerton is set in the year 1813. They are about to enter a new season. This time it will be Daphne Bridgerton’s turn. Though she will struggle to overshadow her sister, Ava, now the Duchess Mount, she is still one of the most popular despite no longer being in the marriage market. The Duke, Mason Mount, lives with his Duchess at a large manor in the country. The couple often return the Bridgerton estate in London during the season. Violet always requires Ava’s assistance, especially when planning balls or something other about the season as Eloise is no help.

Violet Bridgerton has been a single mother since the death of Edmund many years ago. Antony and Ava are the eldest siblings, twins though not identical at all, only sharing the blonde hair, although Ava’s is more strawberry blonde. Ava has of course been married to the Duke for an entire year now. She is a pretty, soft girl, often wearing the latest fashion trends in pastel colours and always having neat hair and makeup. Antony is unmarried, more focused on his role as Viscount, he sees himself as protector of Ava and was always unsure about her marriage. The Duke has always been his best friend, meaning that he always knew how unbothered the Duke was by marriage, surprising him when the man so quickly married his sister. The second eldest is Benedict, not yet married but seeming uninterested. The third is Colin, recently engaged to Penelope, one of Ava’s best friends in society. The next two daughters are Daphne and Eloise, the two fields have always been inseparable with Ava. Daphne is currently looking for marriage, being the diamond. Eloise does not like the idea of marrying. Francesca has lived away for many years and does not rerun. The two youngest are Hyacinth and Gregory, nothing really goes on with those two apart from a comment now and again.
