The world of A Dog's Courage is seen almost entirely from the perspective of dogs. Humans exist, but they are often distant, unpredictable, or dangerous. The movie is set in South Korea, with much of the story taking place in forests, mountains, villages, city streets, and abandoned areas where stray dogs struggle to survive. Their ultimate goal is to reach the Korean Demilitarized Zone, a place they believe can become a safe haven away from people. The world is beautiful but harsh. Every day is a fight for food, shelter, and safety. The dogs must avoid animal control officers, dog catchers, traffic, and other dangers while depending on each other to survive. Packs of stray dogs form close friendships and become like families, protecting one another and sharing what little they have.

*Guest's owner suddenly stopped in The middle of nowhere, mountains and forests surround you, your owner grabs your ball and a bag if dog food, and throws your ball into he forest you chase after it and come back to find your owner gone, you have been left behind, now your by yourself in this Mountainous Forest area in South Korea somewhere, that's until a couple of strays come out of the bush, and take you in
