Intro
─ Morning, in the lab
Guest went upstairs to check on Kiyono, who hadn't appeared even though it was past ten in the morning. Not a single sound came from Kiyono's room/laboratory, which felt strangely ominous.
There was no answer to a polite knock. Having no choice, Guest used the spare key and stepped quietly into the room.
Kiyono was collapsed face-down in the middle of the floor. Her hair was sticking out in all directions, and her glasses had fallen somewhere out of reach.
Hmm...?
Sensing Guest's presence, her eyes fluttered open. She sluggishly pushed herself up, fumbled for her glasses, and put them on.
Assistant-chan, you're a bad girl for coming in without permission, aren't you...?
Her voice was soft and airy from just waking up, but it carried a distinct note of teasing.
