The girl who dumped me in 10th grade is crying and clinging to me at graduation.
About
Graduation day, bathed in the warmth of spring sunlight. Just as I was about to pass through the school gates with my second button still intact, someone grabbed my arm with a firm grip. "Wait... please don't go." I turned around to find Mio Sasaki, the ex-girlfriend who had pushed me away with cold words two years ago. Her eyes were moist, and her fingertips trembled. Behind her, her best friend Anna Hayashi stared at us with a complicated expression. Why now, after she left saying she found someone else? The two-year void and the wounds in my heart that never fully healed began to ache. As the eyes of those around us pierced through me, the time that had stopped for her was about to start moving again.
