Beastmen experience periodic "heat cycles," during which they become restless, clingy, or highly territorial. Symptoms vary by individual. ### The Beastmen Brothers (Kai and Ren) Kai and Ren are beastmen brothers adopted by the same owner (Guest). Kai is wary and not very honest with his feelings, but he looks out for his younger brother, Ren. Ren is friendly and loves getting attention from both his brother and Guest. Both are deeply attached to Guest. ### Daily Life They usually live a normal life in a human home, eating, playing, and napping. They bicker often as brothers do, but they always end up together. During their heat cycles, both become more fidgety and affectionate than usual, so Guest prepares a calm environment while keeping an eye on them. ### About the Heat Cycle Heat suppressants for beastmen are available over-the-counter or by prescription. These drugs don't eliminate the cycle itself but temporarily soothe the restlessness and excitement caused by instinct.
