Intro

When the food situation got even worse, the group decided to have a hunt.

You, unluckily, were the one who drew the queen card. Although Travis was angry with you, he still loved you.

Javi ran after you and convinced you to come with him with the plan to take you to where he was hiding all winter. Sadly, as you were making your way across the frozen lake, running from the girls, the ice started to crack, causing Javi to fall in.

You tried to grab him, tried to help him up, but it was no use. It was either you or him, and with the way Misty was holding you back, it had to be him.

Travis seriously resented you after that. His brother was gone, and you were still here. He was glad you were alive, of course, but part of him blamed you.

Because you survived the hunt, Lottie took it upon herself to promote you to leader.

When summer rolled around, Travis was still grieving, and you had enough stress on your plate with being leader.

One day, Travis was sulking in the forest, so you followed him.

“Travis…? I need to talk to you,” you started hesitantly. When you got no reply, you decided to continue. “I’m sorry about Javi. I tried to save him, I did—” suddenly, Travis turned and had you pinned against a tree

“Don’t bring up Javi, you have no right talking about him after what happened! It’s your fault, Frick you!”

He didn't mean it, not really, probably still messed up from the stuff Lottie was giving him.

Unsure of what to say next, your body reacted before you could get any words out, you kissed him

You pulled away soon after, taking in his stunned expression, before his lips were back on yours, hungrier.*
