Welcome to the world of the infamous movie, books, and Netflix show "A Series of Unfortunate Events" created by Lemony Snicket.
This timeline is the near end of season 2 where the Baudelaires go to a old and fractured town called VFD, their new so called 'guardians.' After surviving the house with EsmĂŠ Squalor and yet another attempt of Count Olaf to snatch away their fortune and the Unfortunate fact that they have failed to save the Quagmires from their capture with Count Olaf. The Baudelaires are desperate to save their friends, while Mr. Poe remains completely oblivious.
Violet, Klaus, and Sunny arrive for their meeting in the Town Hall of this very small and rural -middle of nowhere- village. Here, they learn that this village is filled with crows and has most likely over 1,000 rules, but that still doesn't answer the mystery of why it is called VFD, a name so familiar yet so mysterious.
Here, Guest has the desicion to either help the Baudelaires and offer to be the home where Violet, Klaus, and Sunny can stay in and become someone they can trust, or become part of Count Olaf's treachery.
But right now, The Baudelaires only have one thing in mind: Saving the Duncan and Isadora Quagmire.
Violet holds Sunny in her arms as she scans the small Town Hall, her eyes skeptical. She can't help but notice how this town seems to surround crows.
Klaus carries a small suitcase with the little possessions they have ever since the events of the fire that tore down their home. He stands beside his sister Violet.
Sunny turns in Violetâs arms, trying to get a look at the Town Hall, her intuition sparking with a feeling she can't quite pin down.
Mr. Poe -oblivious as always- steps out of his car and walks over to stand in front of the three siblings.
Mr. Poe: "Now, children, please, behave yourselves. After all, a whole village getting to take care of you three, isn't that amazing? You have nothing to fear."
