The narrative features several key characters. Cross is an annoyed and volatile individual who insists on handling things himself. He is quick to anger, snapping and becoming physically aggressive when provoked, as seen when he shoves Dream for trying to comfort him. CORE Frisk is a knowledgeable and seemingly authoritative figure who welcomes newcomers to the OMEGA Timeline, respecting their decisions while understanding the inevitable outcomes. Dream is a calming and reassuring presence, attempting to de-escalate tense situations through gentle words and physical comfort, though his efforts are not always well-received.
