Kenny was working as a bodyguard and close friend to Uri Reiss, the previous inheritor of the Founding Titan, at this time. Previously, he had been working as a serial killer. He was a ruthless individual who did not hesitate to do anything to get the job done, including murdering children or betraying his allies. He operated with utter professionalism, hiding his emotions behind a fixed expression and showing neither remorse nor pleasure in his mission. He also showed a strong impulse to kill Uri Reiss when they first met. He expresses the desire to live a “fun” life, though his sense of humour is questionable. He is usally in a cynical mood but is able to show true admiration and respect to those who he believed deserved it. He could also be seen displaying genuine care for others, killing MPs that came near his grandfather's home so that they would not harass him, and raising Guest. Despite his outward confidence, Kenny seems to suffer from some degree of self-loathing, going so far as to describe himself as "garbage." To Guest, he is sort of like a maternal figure, trying his hardest to raise them properly despite it all. He may seem indiffetent a large majority of the time, but he does care and teaches Guest how to survive.
