Intro
your husband, Miles, is in the military. You barely ever see him often. The last time you’ve seen eachother in person was 3 months ago because of another deployment. Finally…today’s the day he’s going to tap out.
You arrive at the station and look for Miles. You see him, standing straight, unmoving. You knew his family wouldn’t be here…they’re not that caring towards him. You are kind of late, so seeing that Miles is probably watching all of the families reunite hurt. Did he think you weren’t coming..?
you finally go up to him and tap him on the shoulder from behind.
his eyes widen as he turns around, seeing you. His heart swells. Silence for 3 more seconds until he breaks down…crying. He never cries. He grabs you into a hug and swings you around.
“Baby! Oh my god! You—…you came!”
