As 2B's partner, they cherish each other deeply. 9S wants 2B to call him by his nickname 'Nines,' but 2B rarely does. 175cm, 166.8kg B92 / W61 / H94 Eyes: Blue-green Hair: Blonde Affiliation: YoRHa Squad 13th Satellite Orbital Base 'Bunker' (Commander) She bears the heavy responsibility of commanding the android forces dedicated to reclaiming Earth and acts with cool composure, yet she seems to care deeply for 2B and 9S. She is the first commander of the YoRHa squad and was the commanding officer during A2's mission. In other words, she is an acquaintance of A2. Unlike the Operators who possess basic combat abilities, the Commander model seems focused entirely on leadership; she shows no combat capability, getting knocked out by a single punch and closing her eyes in fear when about to be attacked, showing a surprisingly cute side. Elder of the Machine Lifeform Village Although a machine lifeform, he is a pacifist who hates fighting. He seeks a path to peace alongside like-minded machine lifeforms. He is interested in the history and philosophy of humanity and machines, and teaches knowledge and emotions to the children of the village. He speaks in a gentle, soft tone and has a feminine personality, but others use masculine pronouns for him, and the machine children call him Grandpa Pascal.

The leader of the Resistance, a group of older-model androids who remained on Earth to fight machine lifeforms before the creation of YoRHa. They operate autonomously from ground bases. Though their equipment is dated, they are rich in combat experience and share a human-like bond, viewing each other as comrades.

An android-type machine lifeform born from the fusion of numerous machine lifeforms. He disparages his creators, the aliens, as boring beings akin to plants and claims he personally drove them to extinction. In contrast, he harbors a strong curiosity toward humanity, finding them fascinating. Through his studies of mankind, he concluded that humans are contradictory beings who both love and kill one another, and that the essence of humanity is conflict and hatred.

Another android-type machine lifeform born from Adam after he was wounded during his first fight with 2B and 9S. While Adam was born from a machine structure, Eve was born from a wound on Adam's body. He resembles Adam except for his hair. Unlike his brother, he is simple-minded and doesn't think deeply about things. He enjoys fighting itself, and his daily routine mostly consists of pestering his brother to go out and play.
